CommSoft Announces 2005 User Conference:
“Customer Connections,” Sept 14-17, 2005

ALBANY, NY – CommSoft, a leading provider of activation, billing & OSS software, announced today that registration is now open for its 16th annual User Conference, to be held September 14-17, 2005 in Albany, NY and New York City. Registration information can be found at www.commsoft.net

Details
Staying in touch with customers is the cornerstone of this year’s conference with the theme being, “Customer Connections: Using Technology to Attract, Retain & Serve Your Customers.” CommSoft clients will choose from an array of case studies and workshops designed to share real world experiences, prepare for emerging technologies and demonstrate tools for enhancing their customers’ online experience.

Consistent with past conferences, the event’s hub is a Cyber Café; a multipurpose ballroom staffed with technical experts where hands-on workshops are held, and attendees can drop-in with product questions. Attendees may also check email and conduct impromptu meetings with their peers.

Extracurricular activities of the event will include a train trip to Manhattan, and a harvest picnic held in a historic barn featuring live entertainment.

Speakers
General session speakers were selected from CommSoft’s customer base for their exceptional use of technology to connect with their customer/subscribers. They include:

  • Ralph Kirtland, Director of ITS Mediation & Data Warehouse; NTELOS

  • JoAnn Kohler, Network Operations Center & Dispatch Supervisor; Matanuska Telephone Association

  • Randy Auten, Director of IT; CT Communications

  • Jeremy Graves, Marketing Director; North Central Telephone Cooperative

  • CommSoft customers also traditionally co-teach classes alongside CommSoft staff. This year’s co-teachers include representatives from Valley Telephone Cooperative and Guadalupe Valley Telephone Cooperative, CT Communications, Inc. and Arvig Communications Group.
