BIG BEND AND PALMERTON TELEPHONE SELECT COMMSOFT'S INTERFACE ENGINE
ALBANY, NY - CommSoft, a leading provider of billing software
to midsize communications companies, announced today that Big Bend Telephone
Company and Palmerton Telephone Company have selected CommSoft’s
Interface Engine (CIE) for digital switch provisioning and record auditing.
Both companies have selected CIE to replace existing systems.
Big Bend will use CommSoft’s Interface Engine to reduce the time
for service activations and feature changes by automating the manual steps
involved. This will result in faster, more efficient service to Big Bend’s
customers and will increase operational efficiency. Big Bend will also
utilize CIE’s record auditing capabilities to resolve discrepancies
between the switch and billing records. The system was chosen for its
stability and service offerings, as well as its availability on the Linux
operating system.
Palmerton, an existing CommSoft customer, will benefit from CIE’s
ability to increase customer service and revenue recognition through automated
processes. Palmerton will also use the system to perform record auditing
functions, which will result in increased error recognition and revenue
assurance. Palmerton will benefit from the system’s rapid deployment
capabilities and ability to integrate with many other systems at no additional
cost.
