COMMSOFT WINS THREE CONTRACTS
FOR AUTOMATION & PROVISIONING
IN Q1 2005
Software Solution Provider Aggressively Expands into Automation
and Event Provisioning
ALBANY, NY - CommSoft, a leading provider of activation, billing & OSS
software to communications companies, announced today that
it has signed three contracts in the first quarter for
software licensing and services
for its provisioning platform, The ConnectionÔ (TC). CT Communications,
Matanuska Telephone Association, and Ketchikan Public Utilities,
all purchased software licenses and or services from CommSoft
to provision, activate
and or migrate their voice, video, data and wireless services.
As communication providers increasingly recognize the cost and customer
service benefits of automating business processes including the activation
and provisioning of their services, CommSoft has experienced a dramatic
increase in the demand for its software products and services.

CT Communications
CT Communications (CTC) recently contracted with CommSoft
for enhancements to their provisioning system. CommSoft will develop
a CORBA interface for CTC and implement provisioning and auditing automation
for its POTs services.

Ketchikan Public Utilities
KPU has chosen CommSoft to provision orders and
activate services on their new Tekelec T7000 softswitch. The
Connection
software will provision video, DSL and voice mail
services. Additional functionality
will provide KPU with automated audit and reporting
functions between the Tekelec switch, a Nortel switch, and
the
CommSoft billing & OSS
software. Migration services will also be provided to convert KPU’s
Internet accounts to CommSoft’s billing platform. Ketchikan
is headquartered in Ketchikan, AK

Matanuska Telephone Association
This contract represents Phase II of an effort
to automate the provisioning, audit and switch query capabilities
for MTA’s
voice services. Phase 1, completed last summer, encompassed MTA’s
wireline operation while Phase II covers their wireless
business. MTA, the second largest communications cooperative,
is headquartered in Palmer,
AK.
