MATANUSKA TELEPHONE ASSOCIATION PURCHASES COMMSOFT’S COMMVERGENCE FOR WIRELESS
ALBANY, NY - CommSoft, the leading provider of billing software
to midsize communications companies, announced today that Matanuska Telephone
Association has signed a contract to purchase the wireless component of
its CommVergence product.
Matanuska Telephone, a CommSoft customer since 1998, will now utilize
CommVergence to bill for all of its services and to provide customers
with truly convergent bills for wireless, wireline, and Internet. The
CommVergence software suite will also enable the company to perform its
customer care, rating, billing, financials and inventory—as well
as its carrier-to-carrier access billing—from a single integrated
system. Matanuska also uses CommSoft’s solution for the administration
of capital credits (a system of profit sharing among cooperative members).

end user billing and customer care needs,” said Greg Berberich,
chief executive officer of Matanuska Telephone Association. “CommVergence
will further enable us to respond to our customer demand for a single
bill for all of their services, and to increase efficiency and productivity.”
