PEOPLES TELEPHONE SELECTS COMMSOFT'S INTERFACE ENGINE
ALBANY, NY - CommSoft, a leading provider of billing software
to midsize communications companies, announced today that Peoples Telephone
Cooperative has selected CommSoft's Interface Engine (CIE) for digital
switch provisioning and record auditing. Peoples will use CIE to automate
processes, eliminate redundancies, and recover charges that are not billed
due to discrepancies with the switch.
By automating telephone account activations and feature changes, Peoples
will be able to offer quicker, more efficient customer service that will
also result in quicker revenue recognition. The CIE solution will shrink
overhead costs by reducing the need for switch technicians to manually
activate feature changes. CIE will also find and report unbilled charges
due to discrepancies between the switch and billing resulting in increased
revenue assurance.
