VALLEY TELEPHONE COOPERATIVE, INC. SELECTS COMMSOFT'S COMMVERGENCE

ALBANY, NY - CommSoft, the leading provider of billing software to midsize communications companies, announced today that Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc. has signed a contract to purchase their CommVergence product. The agreement includes software licensing for several of CommSoft’s products in addition to a multi-year support agreement, and the purchase of hardware.

The total CommVergence solution includes applications for integrated customer care, rating and billing as well as carrier access billing, financials and inventory. The system will eliminate many operational redundancies for Valley Telephone and its subsidiaries, particularly in the area of billing for their wireless and wireline products.

CommVergence is the only product that we found for the mid-size market that will enable us to conduct our wireless, wireline and Internet customer care and billing operations from a single database - and allow us to expand services in the future - using a single, integrated system.”
