COMMSOFT ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF COMMNEXTION
SUITE OF PRODUCTS
The next generation in web-based customer self-care
and provisioning for telecom companies
ALBANY, NY - March 31, 2006 - CommSoft,
a leading provider of billing and OSS software announced today
that they have released CommNextion, a new suite of enhanced
web solutions to the telecom market. This web based customer
service framework offers control and process management tools
to help telecom companies market services in new and efficient
ways utilizing the Internet. CommNextion’s flexible architecture
allows it to integrate with any independent peripheral system
including switches or BSS/OSS solutions.
CommNextion boosts customer satisfaction levels as well as
increases internal operational efficiencies by providing subscribers
with the ability to shop on-line, select add-on services,
pay bills, report troubles, and view service history. CommNextion
also takes the next step and automates the provisioning of
these services.

The CommNextion framework consists of five customer service
focused modules. These offerings can be implemented on a standalone
basis, or in tandem, increasing features and accessibility
for their customers. The framework can be implemented with
any switch, billing system or existing PBX, allowing providers
rapid start up and flexibility to implement the entire framework
or just components most desired. Providers can start with
one or two offerings and add capabilities as needed. CommNextion
is also fully integrated with CommSoft’s CommVergence billing
and OSS solution. These powerful modules include:
SelfServe - Provides intuitive features allowing subscribers increased flexibility and control over their accounts. Features include online bill view, toll inquiry with an integrated reverse directory lookup, and bill payment entry.
SelfSelect – Allows subscribers to manage their own accounts
and perform various self-care functions over the web such
as pricing add-ons, adding features, reporting troubles, tracking
orders, and viewing account history.
SelfDirect – Provides powerful call forwarding capabilities
via the web and the ability to block or restrict toll numbers.
Offers an easy-to-use calendar approach to schedule these
activations, de-activations and restrictions of service.
BusinessServe – Easily handles voice mail notification and
the ability to listen to recordings via the web anytime and
anywhere. Provides for specialized call routing such as sending
calls from a single 800 number to a specific branch or store
location based on the originating number.
VoiceServe – Offers the ability to provide Interactive Voice
Response options to route calls, pay invoices, and access
account information.
